PREAMBLE
In recognition of the legal obligations arising from the Act of May 13, 2016, on counteracting threats of sexual crime and protecting minors, and in accordance with the United Nations’ guidelines on business and human rights, acknowledging the significant role of business in ensuring the respect for children’s rights, Nobu Hotel Warsaw adopts the Standards for the Protection of Minors. This document constitutes a set of principles and procedures to be followed in the event of suspected harm to a child staying at Nobu Hotel Warsaw and to prevent such threats, with particular consideration for children with disabilities and those with special educational needs.
This document constitutes a set of principles and procedures followed by Nobu Hotel Warsaw, which are implemented based on the following principles:
- Nobu Hotel Warsaw conducts its operations with respect for the rights of children as individuals particularly vulnerable to harm, assuming responsibility for protecting their dignity and freedom.
- Nobu Hotel Warsaw acknowledges its role in conducting socially responsible business and promoting desirable social attitudes, particularly in the area of child protection. Nobu Hotel Warsaw emphasizes the importance of the legal and social obligation to notify law enforcement authorities of any suspected crime against children and commits to training its staff in this regard.
